Despite my lack of belief in, or support of, deities on this planet of ours, I’m not averse to appearing on TV shows that are normally of a religious nature. I think it’s important that people in the faith community know exactly where people like myself come from, why we think the way we do, and why we attack them so voraciously on a wide range of subjects ranging from education to life extension technologies. And it’s important from a political perspective as the religious right has no qualms about inserting itself into our political spectrum and needs a serious dose of hard-nosed opposition on a regular basis. More and more these days I find myself playing that role.
Here’s my latest foray onto religious TV. Broadcast is on the 18th of January 2009. This was a two hour session cut down to one hour to fit the TV slot.
