It’s been a long time since I’ve gone out on a limb and slagged the media but at least one outfit is long overdue – the Georgia Straight.  Despite having given me their supportive nod as a candidate in the last provincial election, a dubious honour I will reject the next time around, their ownership are probably the biggest bunch of unethical sleaze bags in the local newspaper world.  Why?  They are in bed with the tobacco industry to the tune of regular full page advertisements in the soiled rag they call a newspaper.  I shudder to think how many souls their outright wilful ignorance will put in an early grave all for the sake of the earned by selling death and disease dollar lining their pockets.  Shame on them.
