Well well, our secretive and dictatorial Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, is once again showing his stripes by punting Garth Turner M.P. from the Conservative camp.  So much for the old Reform Party values, any kind of freedom of speech, or even democracy for that matter.  I read Turner’s blog and found nothing in there worthy of him getting the boot, just a good honest and refreshing read.  But it’s Heir Harper’s way or the highway.   Sounds like Garth is a good man to vote for, and I predict he’ll blow the next Conservative candidate right out of the electoral water in the next election.
(April 2007 comment – and now he’s a Liberal.  My prediction stands.

I see that the Conservative nomination candidate for Richmond, B.C., Darrel Reid has dropped out of the race to take over the chief of staff position for Environmental Minister Rona Ambrose. This certainly is “Right for Richmond” but I’ll research judgment on it being right for Canada, or our environment.
(April 2007 comment – I guess it wasn’t as neither are in these posts any longer.  How times change….)
